Climb Catalunya is dedicated to providing tailor-made holidays and courses for both novice and experienced climbers. Based in the beautiful Montsec mountains of northwest Catalunya on the edge of the high Pyrenee
s we have everything within easy reach: dramatic gorges split by powerful rivers, peaceful lakes and picturesque villages, high mountains and, of course, endless climbing opportunities.
All of the climbing trips we organise involve staying in 2 or 3 albergs/refuges over the course of a single holiday. Our aim is to give you the opportunity to enjoy the full diversity each area has to offer while not losing any time travelling. Every place we stay has quality climbing on its doorstep allowing us to get you on the rock each morning without delay.
The daily schedule of these itineraries revolves around making the most of daylight hours for getting outdoors and on to the crags. You will be taken to the climbing sector of your choice each day 
after breakfast, with packed lunch provided to keep you energised through the day. We will help you to become familiar with the sectors and identify the best and most suitable routes. After a day on superb rock you will enjoy an evening with good Catalan food and wine in the alberg. We will have a chance to talk through the day's climbing and pore over topos while planning the next day's campaign.
Standard sleeping arrangements for both holidays and courses consist of dormitory accommodation although in some locations double or triple rooms are available for a small supplement. Transport is in minivan and/or Land Rover depending on the terrain.
Climb Catalunya organises a variety of itineraries, each offered according to the season in order to guarantee the best possible climbing conditions. Current itineraries on offer are:
Classic Gorges of northwest Catalunya (8 days) available autumn, late winter and spring. £325 pp.

Once in Spain the prices are all inclusive. All prices of holidays and courses include pick-up and drop-off at Barcelona airport, accommodation and full-board in albergs and refuges, transport to and from the climbing sector of choice each day and expert route advice. Costs not included in the package are for flights and travel/climbing insurance.

To maximise your comfort and ensure that you receive all the personal attention you need to make the most of your holiday Climb Catalunya only caters for small groups. At present, therefore, Climb Catalunya accepts bookings for 2-12 people. The maximum overall group size is 12.
